Bromley Wedding Photographers, The Old Palace Bromley

Todays wedding was at the  Old Palace in Bromley Kent, another local one for us! For those of you who are not aware of the Old Palace it is behind the Bromley Civic Centre, The Old Palace was built in 1775 for the Bishop of Rochester and has immaculate grounds and gorgeous lawns perfect for wedding photography!

Chris & Christina had chosen not to go with the tradition of not seeing each other before the service, they arrived early and so we were able to get some lovely shots of them together in and around the Old Palace and with family before the service. The service was held in the main function room, Michelle took her place at the top of the aisle and I waited for the bride and her father to enter, she look beautiful and as she entered she looked quit emotional.  As the pair said their vows Christina couldn’t hold her emotion and at first I think her guests thought she was laughing and then as they realised she was crying they too started to cry – photographing weddings and capturing all this emotion is what we love!

After the ceremony the wedding party followed the couple out onto the lawn and we took the family group photos that the couple had requested before taking them off for some time on their own to do the bit that I have to admit I love the most about wedding photography – the couple shots, capturing the first photographs of a couple as husband & wife is something that I find a great pleasure, they will treasure those photographs forever!  Chris & Christina had chosen to have a route master bus to escort their wedding party to their wedding reception, which is always fun when it comes to wedding photography!  Congratulations to you both!
