Today we had the pleasure of being part of Kim & Jim’s wedding they had put so much effort into their wedding day and the result they had a day that was great from start to finish! We started the wedding photography at the brides house which was local to us in Eltham, we got to shoot the Bride as she got ready along with her many bridesmaids who were full of giggles! Whilst Michelle was busy photographing the bridemaids having the hair & make up being done I was able to take some time to take some shots of the details of the day ( dress, shoes, and all the special little things you want to remember from your wedding day! ) Kim had decided on a route master bus for her transport to the church and whilst she was getting ready the bridesmaids all in matching pj’s and a glass in hand made their way onto the street for some fun photos aboard the bus! I then went off to the church to meet Jim and his Groomsmen why Michelle stayed with Kim and got to ride on the bus!
The men looked very smart and were all in great spirits & happy to do some fun shots that I had planned, I got some great shots of them inside and outside the church before Kim arrived. St Michael’s & All Angels Church in Blackheath is a stunning church and with us being local wedding photographers we knew it well, the church was full of guests and having such a lovely couple to photograph meant some fab wedding photography for us! After vows had been exchanged the newly weds let off doves – so funny, can still see Kim face now!
The Beaverwood Club in Chislehurst was the ideal location for the wedding reception and yet again Kim had pulled out all the stops & the place looked amazing! congratulations Mr & Mrs Cotton!
