Dartford Wedding Photographer, Manor Gate House, Kent

Today we were photographers at the Dartford Registry Office, Manor Gate House, Kent.  “Henry VIII chose the site to construct a Manor House between 1541 and 1544 for his personal use. Anne of Cleves was given the Manor House as part of her divorce settlement by Henry”.  We were delighted to receive a recommendation from one of our other bride and grooms and it’s always good to know clients know our photography style and have seen us work at weddings.

We arrive at the wedding to find a very willing groom Mark ready with his Trilby to pose for us with his best man and best woman!  When Mark was safely inside away from view Nicola arrived looking stunning in to beautiful lace dress with red shoes to match her bridesmaids dreses.  After a slight bridesmaids dress malfunction we were ready to go!

The service was beautiful and emotional and a lovely reminder to me as I also got married here several years ago!  As the wedding was the last of the day they were able to make a grand entrance into the courtyard where we went through the couples requested group shots and also including some photographs of those gorgeous red shoes.  We had time to take the couple around the courtyard and get creative with some rather editorial posing!  While all the time the sky got darker and you could hear thunder rumbles getting closer. Nicola and Mark were then whisked away before the rain come down to their wedding reception at the Hilton Dartford.

Thanks for a lovely afternoon guys! See you when you get back off honeymoon we just can’t wait to show you your wedding photos, we know you’re going to love them!
