Max and David chose this beautiful location for their special day, the Westernhanger Castle is a unique venue offering exclusive use of the grounds and Manor House. Today was a bright and sunny day so both Max & David were very happy! We were spending the whole day with Max & David and were looking forward to it. During the morning we had plenty of time to photograph the pair getting ready and to take some detailed shots of the rings and flowers and the general preparation for the day. I love this bit as the detail is often forgotten after the day and when looking back its the small things that matter.
The ceremony was held in the grounds of the Westenhanger Castle under a beautiful thatched gazebo with a red carpet! Max and David had invited all their friends and family to attend their civil ceremony and share their happiness! It was a lovely service.
With the stunning grounds surrounding the Westernhanger Castle is was not difficult to find places to photograph the newly weds with their friends and family for group photographs before taking Max & David off for their couple shots – with their dogs in tow!
The reception was held in a lovely white gazebo in the grounds of the Westenhanger Castle and it had been tastefully decorated in blacks & whites. After they had eaten and mingled with guests we took some time to take some photographs of the cutting of the cake before the reluctant couple took to the dance floor!
This is where we left the couple to enjoy the remainder of their evening with their guests.
Thanks for a fantastic day it was a pleasure to be part of your Civil Ceremony – Congratulations!
