Congratulations to Steve and Annabel who married on Saturday at Greenwich’s Old Royal Naval College. Despite the terrible wind and rain this did not dampen their happy wedding day! We nipped in and out of The Admirals House where the ceremony took place to have some outside photographs and take full advantage of the surroundings, luckily there were outside options for the photographs under the spectacular colonnades so not need to get wet, just cold! I spoke to Steve earlier in the week and we had decided to bring along our white umbrellas to use but as it was so cold we decided to have most of the formal family shots in the The Admirals House.
Steve and Annabel’s ceremony was conducted by the friendly Greenwich Registrars who we’d met twice before at weddings we’ve photographed at Eltham Palace. Annabel entered the room to a playing string trio, she looked amazing in her wedding dress and we absolutely loved her handmade shoes! The service was emotional with readings from Annabel’s daughter and Steve’s dad who also did a fantastic job of getting everyone together for the group shots – thanks Dave! They had their wedding breakfast upstairs in the newly decorated Georgian room. The room looked fantastic with stunning flower centre pieces on each table and we have to congratulate Steve on a very funny speech.
If you are thinking of getting married in Greenwich we can fully recommend the Old Royal Naval College, the buildings and grounds are fabulous and the staff were very accommodating too!
Congratulations to you both again it was lovely to be a part of your wedding day and meet all your lovely friends and family. x
