We were off to the Kent countryside for the beautiful setting of The Orangery at Turkey Mill, Maidstone for the wedding of Ian and Tracey. This was our first wedding at Turkey Mill and we could not have asked a more tranquil and scenic location and we were able to make the most of the stunning lakes, waterfall and landscaped grounds for some lovely photographs to mark their special day. The typical British summer had meant there had been rain all week in the build-up to Ian and Tracey’s big day but the sun came out and made for a wonderful afternoon.
Tracey had a very special surprise arranged by Ian and was completely overwhelmed when her horse and carriage arrived to take her to the venue. As the weather had been so unpredictable a last minute decision was made to have the wedding inside The Garden Room rather than in the gazebo outside. The magnificent room with its spectacular glass room ceiling for the perfect setting and with so much natural light you almost felt like you were outdoors. The bridge which leads to The Garden Room acts like an aisle and again allowed us to really capture some lovely shots.
We know that Tracey and Ian had a wonderful day at Turkey Mill and we enjoyed it too and would highly recommend this beautiful venue. We would like to thank the happy couple for letting us be part of their special day and wish them much happiness together.
